PadelConnects is een online platform dat padelspelers met elkaar verbindt om samen matches te spelen. Het platform wordt ontwikkeld en beheerd door Romain Houben, gevestigd in Maastricht, Nederland.
PadelConnects faciliteert het vinden van medespelers en het organiseren van matches. Het platform is niet verantwoordelijk voor wat er op of rond de baan gebeurt, waaronder maar niet beperkt tot blessures, schade aan materiaal, of geschillen tussen spelers.
Door een account aan te maken op PadelConnects ga je akkoord met deze algemene voorwaarden. Je dient:
Gebruikers van PadelConnects worden verwacht zich respectvol te gedragen tegenover andere spelers, zowel op het platform als op de baan. Dit omvat onder andere:
PadelConnects verwacht van alle gebruikers dat zij zich houden aan de volgende spelregels:
No-show beleid:
Een "no-show" wordt gedefinieerd als het zonder tijdige afmelding niet verschijnen bij een match waarvoor je je hebt aangemeld. PadelConnects behoudt zich het recht voor om in uitzonderlijke gevallen (aantoonbare overmacht) een waarschuwing of schorsing te herzien.
Na afloop van een schorsingsperiode wordt het account automatisch hersteld en begint de teller opnieuw.
PadelConnects behoudt zich het recht voor om accounts te schorsen of permanent te verwijderen in geval van:
Bij schorsing of verwijdering word je, indien mogelijk, vooraf geïnformeerd met een reden.
Alle intellectuele eigendomsrechten met betrekking tot PadelConnects — waaronder de naam, het logo, het ontwerp en de broncode van het platform — berusten bij Romain Houben. Het is niet toegestaan om deze zonder voorafgaande schriftelijke toestemming te kopiëren, wijzigen of verspreiden.
PadelConnects is een matchmaking-platform en aanvaardt geen aansprakelijkheid voor:
PadelConnects brengt spelers samen maar is geen partij bij de baanboeking. De verantwoordelijkheid voor het reserveren en betalen van een baan ligt uitsluitend bij de deelnemende spelers onderling. PadelConnects kan op geen enkele wijze aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor gemiste, geannuleerde of betwiste boekingen, noch voor enige financiële schade die daaruit voortvloeit.
Het gebruik van PadelConnects is volledig op eigen risico.
Op deze algemene voorwaarden is Nederlands recht van toepassing, aangezien PadelConnects wordt beheerd vanuit Maastricht, Nederland. Voor gebruikers in België blijven de dwingende bepalingen van het Belgische consumentenrecht onverminderd van toepassing.
Eventuele geschillen worden bij voorkeur in onderling overleg opgelost. Indien dit niet mogelijk is, is de bevoegde rechtbank in Maastricht, Nederland bevoegd.
PadelConnects behoudt zich het recht voor om deze algemene voorwaarden te wijzigen. Bij belangrijke wijzigingen worden gebruikers via e-mail of een melding op het platform geïnformeerd.
Gebruik van PadelConnects is toegestaan vanaf 16 jaar. Gebruikers jonger dan 16 jaar dienen toestemming te hebben van een ouder of voogd. Door te registreren namens een minderjarige bevestigt de ouder of voogd akkoord te gaan met deze algemene voorwaarden en het privacybeleid. PadelConnects behoudt zich het recht voor accounts te verwijderen waarbij deze toestemming ontbreekt.
PadelConnects kan de opgegeven leeftijd of ouderlijke toestemming niet verifiëren. Gebruikers die valse informatie verstrekken over hun leeftijd of ouderlijke toestemming dragen zelf de volledige verantwoordelijkheid. PadelConnects aanvaardt geen aansprakelijkheid in geval van valse opgave.
De leeftijdsverificatie is van toepassing op nieuwe registraties vanaf 29 maart 2026. Bestaande gebruikers worden geacht akkoord te gaan met deze voorwaarden door het platform te blijven gebruiken.

PadelConnects facilitates finding co-players and organizing matches. The platform is not responsible for what happens on or around the court, including but not limited to injuries, property damage, or disputes between players.
By creating an account on PadelConnects, you agree to these terms and conditions. You must:
PadelConnects users are expected to behave respectfully towards other players, both on the platform and on the court. This includes:
PadelConnects expects all users to adhere to the following match rules:
No-show policy:
A "no-show" is defined as failing to appear at a match you signed up for without timely withdrawal. PadelConnects reserves the right to review a warning or suspension in exceptional circumstances (demonstrable force majeure).
After the suspension period ends, the account is automatically reinstated and the counter resets.
PadelConnects reserves the right to suspend or permanently delete accounts in case of:
In case of suspension or deletion, you will be informed in advance with a reason, where possible.
All intellectual property rights related to PadelConnects — including the name, logo, design, and source code of the platform — belong to Romain Houben. Copying, modifying, or distributing these without prior written permission is not permitted.
PadelConnects is a matchmaking platform and accepts no liability for:
PadelConnects brings players together but is not a party to any court booking. The responsibility for reserving and paying for a court lies solely with the participating players. PadelConnects cannot be held liable in any way for missed, cancelled, or disputed bookings, nor for any financial damage resulting therefrom.
Use of PadelConnects is entirely at your own risk.
Dutch law applies to these terms and conditions, as PadelConnects is operated from Maastricht, the Netherlands. For users in Belgium, mandatory Belgian consumer protection laws remain applicable.
Any disputes will preferably be resolved amicably. If this is not possible, the competent court in Maastricht, the Netherlands has jurisdiction.
PadelConnects reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions. In case of significant changes, users will be informed via email or a notification on the platform.
Use of PadelConnects is permitted from the age of 16. Users under 16 years of age must have consent from a parent or guardian. By registering on behalf of a minor, the parent or guardian confirms agreement with these terms and conditions and the privacy policy. PadelConnects reserves the right to remove accounts where this consent is absent.
PadelConnects cannot verify the stated age or parental consent. Users who provide false information regarding their age or parental consent bear full responsibility themselves. PadelConnects accepts no liability in the event of false statements.
Age verification applies to new registrations from 29 March 2026. Existing users are deemed to agree to these terms by continuing to use the platform.
